Maiker and Kids First Health Care Bring Youth Clinic to Adams County

Maiker Housing Partners and Kids First Health Care have teamed up to launch a weekly, bilingual pop-up health clinic at Alto Apartments in Westminster. The clinic provides primary and preventative care services for children and youth up to 21. Services include well-child check-ups, sports physicals, vaccines, sick visits, reproductive healthcare and more. Patients do not have to be residents of a Maiker community or have insurance to receive care; though Health First Colorado (Medicaid), CHP+ and some private insurances are accepted. Fees are adjusted based on family income.

The pop-up clinic is Maiker’s latest initiative aimed at increasing access to critical services for Maiker members and Adams County residents.

“We are proud to partner with an organization like Kids First to promote wellness in our community,” said Maiker’s Executive Director, Peter LiFari. “Having access to healthcare that is conveniently located is just one way we can make our community healthier and stronger.

The Kids First clinic is not the first time Maiker has utilized the open space at Alto to provide additional support for community members. In line with their commitment to expanding access to essential services, Maiker partnered with Tri-County Health Department during the pandemic to offer COVID-19 vaccines to Adams County residents.

The clinic is located at 3045 W. 71st Ave and open every Friday from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. To make an appointment, call 720-403-1236 or visit www.kidsfirsthealthcare.org and click “Enroll” at the top of the page. Don’t forget to complete the online enrollment form prior to arrival! Walk-ins are available.
