Maiker Housing Partners’ 2025-2027 Strategic Plan focuses on strengthening our organization and improving the lives of people in Adams County. We will support our staff, provide better services for members, improve how we operate, build more affordable housing and work to address the root causes of housing instability. Our goal is to create stronger communities where everyone has the opportunity to live in a safe, stable and supportive environment.
Pillar One: Maiker centers the growth, wellbeing and sense of belonging of its staff
Objective:
- Attract and retain staff through great culture, competitive HR policies and benefits and finding the right person for the right job.
- Strengthen staff development and define clear pathways for employee growth
- Engage Maikers in our mission and culture through regular, strategic communications and dialogue
Pillar Two: Maiker provides member-centered services and programs to ensure housing stability & community wellbeing

Pillar Three: Maiker prioritizes operational and organizational excellence that scales
Objective:
- We optimize operational efficiencies and delivery excellence
- Maiker’s financial strategy supports its long-term investments for sustainability and growth
Pillar Four: Maiker expands housing opportunities through new development, acquisitions and the Housing Choice Voucher Program.
Objective:
- Increase the number of affordable housing communities (and units) in Adams County
- Develop and maintain physically vibrant communities utilizing cutting - edge design and development methodologies
- Provide affordable housing for Adams County community members most vulnerable to housing instability and homelessness
- Build climate-resilient, energy-efficient, sustainable communities
Pillar Five: Maiker creates housing stability and disrupts generational poverty through advocacy, systemic change, and member-centered programs.
Objective:
- Maiker explores alternative housing and wealth-building strategies for its members
- Increase the voice and power of low income community members in Adams County to impact issues that matter to them
- Advocate for policy and systemic change at a local, state, and national level to improve the lives of the people we serve
