Peter LiFari Elected President of Mountain Plains NAHRO

WESTMINSTER, COLO. – Unison Housing Partners is proud to announce Peter LiFari has been elected to serve a two-year term as president of the Mountain Plains NAHRO beginning on October 13, 2019.

LiFari previously held the Senior Vice-President position within the Mountain Plains NAHRO board of directors. He is also an active member of the Mountain Plains NAHRO Legislative Network and the Community Revitalization and Development team.

In his current role as Executive Director of Unison Housing Partners, LiFari works towards generational solutions to housing inequity and addressing poverty through cross-sectional partnerships. He also serves on the board of directors for the Low Income Family Empowerment (LIFE) Center in Westminster, which provides support, guidance and access to services and educational classes for members living at Unison’s affordable housing properties.

“NAHRO’s eight regions are its strength, and we’re thrilled to have Peter LiFari leading the Mountain Plains Region,” said Sunny Shaw, incoming NAHRO President. “His leadership and dedication are a credit to the region, and we look forward to working with him to meet our region’s local needs and to achieve our shared national priorities.”

The Mountain Plains Region is one of NAHRO’s eight regional councils. These organizations provide access to a local network of industry professionals, opportunities for leadership development, training, conferences, and focus for the special and local interests of the members. Each has its own dues structure and bylaws.
