The Maiker team was honored to receive the Inclusivity Award at the inaugural Adams County Regional Economic Partnership’s (AC-REP) Gamechangers Awards on October 26th!
Dedicated to fostering growth and innovation in the Greater Adams County region, AC-REP Gamechangers Awards recognize individuals, organizations and institutions who’ve delivered a disruptive innovation, major development project, emerging industry, or shift in economic trends that lead to enhanced opportunities for business and individuals in the Greater Adams County region. Finalists represent categories including economic vitality, innovation, inclusivity, sustainability.
Maiker Housing Partners was thrilled to be selected as the winner of the Inclusivity Award alongside finalists Adams 12 Assistive Technology Team, Food for Hope and Santa’s Little Hackers.
The award recognizes our commitment to inclusivity in our staff, members, community and systems.
“Maiker has seamlessly incorporated inclusivity into all facets of their operations,” shared Lisandra Gonzales, executive director of Rocky Mountain Partnership. “The staff and leadership has made it so inclusivity is an integral part of the organization as opposed to a separate initiative.”
Inclusion is a core belief that drives our work at Maiker. From engaging community voice in our development process to supporting our members as they advocate for the changes they want to see, we know that we are strongest when we come together as one community. One Maiker.
“Inclusion requires active, intentional effort from everyone in the Maiker community,” said Maiker CEO Peter LiFari. “It’s an honor to work alongside a team of leaders who prioritize inclusion among our people and in our processes every single day.”
Thank you to the AC-REP for this recognition. We were thrilled to be selected as a finalist alongside some of the county’s leading gamechangers and we look forward to working with them to create a community where more people, including our Maiker members, can thrive for years to come.
