What the passage of Prop 123 means for Colorado

In November, a majority of voters said YES to Proposition 123, paving the way for a historic investment in affordable housing in Colorado. This measure will allocate hundreds of millions of dollars in annual funding to a variety of efforts that support housing development and homelessness prevention efforts. 

Maiker applauds the passage of Prop 123. Throughout the legislative process, Maiker advocated alongside the measure’s proponents to bring an increased investment in affordable housing options to individuals and families across Colorado. We’ve witnessed the impact that affordable housing can have on someone’s life. We understand the value these investments can have on our communities.

Prop 123 has been passed, but our work is just getting started. 

Maiker leadership and staff have continued the conversation around Prop 123 by sharing our expertise on the need for socially conscious community development.
